Byron Airport

Located in the East Bay, Byron Airport provides an ideal training environment with less congested airspace, allowing students to spend more time developing their flying skills and less time waiting for traffic. Recent airport renovations have further improved the facility, while on-site airport safety services help ensure a secure and professional operating environment. With multiple runway options, excellent weather throughout much of the year, and a pilot-friendly atmosphere, Byron Airport offers an outstanding setting for efficient and confidence-building flight training.

Easy commute

We understand that convenience plays an important role in successful flight training. Our Byron location offers an easy commute for students throughout the Central Valley, eliminating the need to spend valuable time traveling through the often congested Tracy–Livermore Pass. By reducing travel time, students can focus more on their training while maintaining a schedule that fits their busy lives. Flight lessons continue to be scheduled around each student's availability, providing the same flexibility and personalized experience TrexAir is known for.

Debriefing room

Our spacious Debriefing Room provides students and instructors with a comfortable environment to review each flight, discuss performance, and prepare for upcoming lessons. This dedicated space encourages productive one-on-one instruction, helping students reinforce key concepts and build confidence after every flight. While day-to-day debriefs and lesson reviews take place at our Byron location, larger ground school classes and comprehensive classroom training will continue to be held at our main Concord hub, giving students access to the best resources at both locations.
