Discovery Flight

Our Discovery Flights mean something! Please allow at least two hours per discovery flight. The first hour you will log 1.0 hours of ground school learning how to plan a San Francisco Bay Tour. The second hour you will FLY the bay tour! Our CFI’s will help you with comms, taxi etc. You will take off, fly the plane, see the city, fly over Alcatraz, fly over the Golden Gate Bridge, fly over Muir Woods and begin your return. You can snap photos, bring 1 person**, and if you are up to it, experience a few maneuvers on the way back. Don’t worry, the CFI will take the landing! During the Discovery Flight debrief, you will receive an Official FAA Logbook and the CFI will sign for the hour of ground and the hour of flight, all going towards your Private Pilot Certification.
